Super Bowl flashback: 49ers stomp Broncos in Super Bowl XXIV

The 49ers entered Super Bowl XXIV on January 28, 1990, looking to repeat as champions. Entering the game with the league's highest-scoring offense, the Niners were led by offensive weapons Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, John Taylor, and Roget Craig. They made easy work of the Minnesota Vikings and the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC playoffs and it was no different in the Super Bowl against the Denver Broncos. San Francisco rolled to a 55-10 blowout win, led by Montana and Craig - with Montana taking home MVP honors.
