Beloved law enforcement veteran honored at funeral after lifetime of service

Mike McQuaig died on Feb. 1 on Morriston, Florida, after a lifetime of service in law enforcement. McQuaig, who most recently led the Dunnellon Police from 2016 to 2023, first worked at the Marion County Sheriff's Office and later the U.S. State Department training officers overseas, and as an investigator for the State Attorney's Office.
