Gamestop stock soared over 70% Monday due to "meme surge"

The unexpected return of the trader who ignited the 2021 meme stock frenzy caused GameStop shares to soar on Monday. This surge wasn't due to the company's struggling fundamentals but rather to a cartoon of a gamer shared by the trader, known as Roaring Kitty, on X.
