Flashback: Mudslide, rain derail Metro-North commuter train

On January 28, 1994, a mudslide and heavy rains caused a Metro-North commuter train to derail south of the Dobbs Ferry Train Station. Dobbs Ferry firefighters and ambulance corps members assisted in safely removing passengers. There were no fatalities and few minor injuries.
