Top candidates for the NBA's Rookie of the Year Award

The 2023/2024 NBA season saw some incredibly talented rookies take to the floor. These players are the top-five candidates to win the prestigious Rookie of the Year Award. The San Antonio Spurs' Victor Wembanyama is the undisputed frontrunner, thought at times this season it seemed the Chet Holmgren of the Thunder might run away with it. 20-year-old Frenchman Wembanyama entered the season as one of the most highly-anticipated new players in history, with his 7 feet 4 inches dazzling on both offense and defense.
