Healthcare union holds rally for state of New York to reverse budget cuts to hospitals

Local hospital and nursing home workers who are part of the 1199 SEIU Healthcare Union Workers East are scheduled to gather at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern at noon to call for a reversal to Gov. Kathy Hochul's proposed $1 billion cuts to healthcare funding and for better Medicare reimbursements at state hospitals.
