During a fourth-quarter confrontation involving Caitlin Clark and former Fever player DeWanna Bonner, Cunningham ended up pointing toward Bonner as the situation escalated. Technical fouls followed, and the scene added another entry to Cunningham’s growing list of viral WNBA moments.

The Jacy Sheldon hard foul that changed her Fever reputation
Cunningham’s “enforcer” reputation took off during a heated Fever-Sun matchup in 2025.
After a physical game involving Caitlin Clark and Connecticut’s Jacy Sheldon, Cunningham delivered a hard late-game foul on Sheldon with less than a minute remaining. Sheldon immediately reacted, the benches and officials got involved, and Cunningham was ejected.
